An Alternative Conference Setting

THE BRIEF: To source an unusual setting for a conference marquee.
THE SOLUTION: An example could be the Back Lawn at King’s College, Cambridge. It’s a spectacular setting for a marquee and having installed there before, Amazing Tents are fully aware of the sensitivity of the site. The clean curved lines of a SaddleSpan are in sharp contrast to the beautiful architecture of the College buildings. A perfect alternative to a conference setting!

EVENT: British Touring Car Championship Race Rounds
VENUES: Oulton Park Circuit, Silverstone Circuit and Brands Hatch Circuit
THE BRIEF: Exhibition stand cover for experiential activation for eBay Motors Hub to be installed on tarmac or deck with interior and exterior branding opportunities.
THE SOLUTION: The 10m x 10m ARCO requires only one 500kg block of ballast on each corner so was a neat alternative to a standard marquee. The clearspan 100m2 was used to provide a challenge to the fans to beat the lap times set by the eBay Motors drivers on the race simulator in the Hub Live.

Universities Choose Amazing Tent for Student Balls

EVENT: Student May Ball
VENUE: Cambridge
THE BRIEF: Provide a Stage Cover for a student ball inside one of Cambridge’s universities with short build and dismantle schedule. Situation was complicated with requirement to work alongside other contractors in relatively small site.
THE SOLUTION: After two site visits, it was decided to use an S5000 SaddleSpan Concert to allow a stage big enough for the acts booked. Cultural Event Attracts Over 100,000 Visitors
SECTOR: Corporate
EVENT: Cultural Festival
VENUE: Potters Field Park, London
THE BRIEF: To create a striking and practical stage cover that will provide the central focus point to a cultural festival with the iconic Tower Bridge in the background.
THE SOLUTION: An S2000 SaddleSpan Concert was used with custom-made ‘starburst’ banners printed with the logo. The SaddleSpan was installed on a multi-level site, part-staked and part-ballasted.
The semi-tensile SaddleSpan stood up well to the October weather. The diverse ‘Days of Ukraine’ showcased the country’s vibrant contemporary art, literature, music and fashion.
