Bringing the Bar and Stage Together

A major element of being at a festival and enjoying the live music is the mad dash from bar to stage and back again. Many people find this a constant chagrin, so why not make things simpler for your festival goers and have the bar as the stage and the stage as the bar – all under one, beautifully structured, roof?

Providing stage covers and bar covers is what we do and our smaller SaddleSpans can comfortably accommodate up to 300-400 people undercover with a 16m bar area to boot.

These structures are semi-tensile which means minimum flap, little noise – just clean and curvaceous lines, drawing in festival goers and giving them everything they could dream of all under one cover.

Simple lighting, decorative touches and you can create the most wonderful and exciting ambience.

Open Air Screening Event

Create a stunning corporate event with a real difference and give your clients an unmissable night.

An open air screening is the ultimate in outdoor events and on a balmy summer evening, enthralled in a classic or a cult film, glass of wine in hand – what could possibly be better?

But, what if it rains? Simple, cover your audience with an S5000 SaddleSpan – this marquee is perfect because of its lack of central poles and the 7m high apex clears the screen yet contains the magical atmosphere.

This is a unique experience and one everyone should have a taste of, an evening that is a world away from a faceless multi-screen with sticky carpets and eau du popcorn.

An alfresco movie night, tucked under the SaddleSpan and enthralled by the screen, this is an evening your clients will not forget in a hurry.

For more information about the S5000 SaddleSpan or if you want some inspiring ideas for your next corporate event – do not hesitate to contact us.

ATC Proudly Displays MUTAmarq

The Amazing Tent Company has long been a proud member of the temporary structure’s trade association, MUTA.

MUTA runs the health and safety accreditation scheme, MUTAmarq – for hirers of marquee and temporary structures – which awards its members the highest health and safety standards, if, and only if, they successfully and continually meet the essential criterion laid down in the scheme.

The Amazing Tent Company is one of only two SaddleSpan accredited members who proudly hold the accreditation.

As an accredited member of MUTAmarq all of the Amazing Tent Company structures are regularly inspected to ensure they are consistently compliant with the MUTAmarq code of practice.

This code has been developed as the industry standard to provide best practice to marquee contractors, event organisers, health and safety professionals, enforcement officers of the design, erection and dismantling of marquees and temporary structures. ATC are proud to have been involved in the creation and development of this essential code of practice.

By covering standards of structural integrity, fire safety, flame retardancy, health and safety practices of erection crews, the code is designed to minimise the potential risk of injury that temporary structures pose whilst making sure outdoor events always run smoothly.

The Amazing Tent Company proudly displays its MUTAmarq standard on our website and, of course, our MUTAmarq Certificate.

If you would like more information about MUTA, MUTAmarq and how we strive to ensure professionalism and safety within our industry please contact us.

Multi-Zone Conference Marquee

For flexibility and originality consider the S5000 TriSpan multi-zone conference marquee.

What is a S5000 TriSpan?

An S5000 TriSpan is three SaddleSpans build in a clover-leaf formation. This arrangement gives three areas connected by a central stage or focus point.

Why have a multi-zone conference marquee?

For conferences with a large number of delegates (the TriSpan can seat over 1800) it is often impossible to engage all the delegates – especially the ones in the back – but with a TriSpan configuration you can have three smaller areas all focussing on the same point or you can set up three different zones, each having different uses such as a conference area, breakout zone and refreshment area.

What does an S5000 TriSpan look like?

Take a look at this aerial image (click for larger image) and imagine what you can do with this space…

Contact us now if you would like more information on how a multi-zone conference marquee can work for you and your delegates.

Travelling in Style

Last month we were at the Olympic Park for the UEFA Champions Festival where one of our S5000 TriSpans was being used.

It was a fantastic event but was noteworthy for another landmark occasion. It was the first time our crew travelled from our HQ in Gloucestershire in The Amazing Tent Company’s latest addition to the fleet – our new VW Amarok!

When describing the Amarok, VW have this to say: “The combination of style and functionality means the Amarok doesn’t just do the business, it looks it too“.

Sounds rather like our SaddleSpans doesn’t it? It certainly describes the ATC crew!
