Add a Break-Out Room To Your Conference

These days conferences have become a lot more engaging than they used to be. The focus has moved from  large, impersonal rooms with screens, stage and row upon row of chairs to creating an interesting and useful event.

Creating ‘break-out’ zones is a great way of getting delegates to participate in workshops and discussions, or to just give them a place to meet up and have a chance to swap ideas and learn from one another.

An S1000 TriSpan, with its three ‘arms’, is perfect for this purpose.

Amazing are a Friend of Molly’s Green Ecotricity Bar

SECTOR: Festival Bars

EVENT: WOMAD

VENUE: Rural Wiltshire

BRIEF:  Our brief at the WOMAD Festival was to provide a structure that could be used for children’s workshops during the day and by night as a late night festival bar with performance space available for evening gigs and shows.

SOLUTION:  We provided an S5000 SaddleSpan Concert which had ‘wings’ at each side of the opening to give more weather protection. We were also really happy to work in partnership with Ecotricity, a Stroud-based Green energy company.  The sound and LED lights in Molly’s Green Bar were powered by a solar powered generating system supplied by WOMAD’s on-site power contractor, The Powerline and sponsored by Ecotricity.

Event Production Awards 2014

Next week see’s the Annual Event Production Awards at Earls Court. Last year we had the enormous pleasure and excitement to win.

In 2013 ATC won the Best Structure Company category at the Event Production Awards – the first ever SaddleSpan company to win in this category – so you can imagine we were extremely pleased and extremely proud.

This year the Awards are being held at Earls Court together with the Event Production Show.

ATC has worked with several of the companies short-listed for the Best Production Team and we would like to wish all of you good luck!
